HBO-Sports offers diversity when it comes to sports and exercise. There are several partners and numerous activities that are organised throughout the year for you. The special HBO-Sports pass gives you access to a wide range of activities and sports. There are also free activities for members or with high discount.
The HBO Sports Pass is available for NHL Stenden students, MBO students and NHL Stenden Alumni* in Assen, Emmen and Meppel.

You will be allowed to use any sports facilities in your own city, as well as in the other two cities. For instance, are you studying in Emmen, but do you live in Assen? Free activities
Each week, we organise free sports activities for you as a student of NHL Stenden, which you can join. Keep an eye on our Facebook page, website, and on-campus TV screens and sign up for volleyball, basketball or futsal.
- Are you doing an internship? Then you may return your pass before 1 February to be eligible for a €50 refund.
- Moreover, on showing your HBO-Sports pass you may ‘rent’ these items free of charge at the iShop: tennis/squash rackets and balls, table tennis bats, chess and checkers boards, and more.
